David L. Marlow

David Lee “Dave” Marlow, 67, Rockford, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017, in his home, with his family by his side. He was born July 25, 1949, in Machesney Park, the son of Ruth Nelson. Dave was a veteran of the Army serving in Viet Nam. He was awarded the Purple Heart along with other military awards and decorations for his commitment to his country.
Survived by his daughter Lisa (D.J.) Moore of Rockford; his sister, Nancy (Barry) Smith; his brother, Johnny (Laurie) Nelson; his former wife, Yvonne Donarumo. Predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Eddy Nelson and Robert Marlow.
Military Honors will be presented at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, February 20, 2017, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford.
