Esperanza Ramos

Esperanza Ramos, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 24, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico, on August 1, 1935; to parents, Antonio and Felipa (Jimenez) Lorenzana. Esperanza was a loving and caring woman to all of her family, and she will be remembered by all who knew her as a positive light in this world. She enjoyed many things in life and showed her love in many ways. Esperanza enjoyed spending time tending to her garden, and raising her family. During this difficult time, her family is blessed to have shared their lives with Esperanza. She will be missed dearly, and loved always. The Ramos family would like to say thank you for all of the condolences and love that has been given.

Esperanza is survived by her children, Maria (Sabino) Quintero, Jose Manuel (Belinda) Ramos, Serafin Ramos, Jose Angel Ramos, Susana Ramos, and Juan Antonio Ramos; 12 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 3 Siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Friends and family are welcome from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL, 61108. Funeral service for Mrs. Ramos will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel. Burial to follow on Saturday to Arlington Memorial Park.
