Roy C. Hutson, 76, Rockford, died Friday, February 12, 2010, in Alden Nelson-Debes Nursing Home following a short illness. He was born October 6, 1933, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, the son of John F. and Effie E. (Smithee) Hutson. Roy owned and operated the Hutson Tool Company in Rockford for many years, retiring in 1991. He was a Charter Member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survived by his sons, Edward (Barb) Hutson of Doniphan, MO., Rick (Robin) Hutson of Little Rock, AR, and Don (Ellen) Hutson of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, William, Rick, Tanie, Jason, Jerimiah, Lisa, Chase, Kim, Matthew, Timothy and Liam; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brothers, Ralph and William (Joan) Hutson, both of Rockford and sister, Ruth (Clifford) Palmer of Clinton, AR. Predeceased by his parents and children Debbie and John.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2010, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL, 61108 with Rev.
