Annye E. Troy

Annye E. Troy, 97 of Rockford passed away Saturday December 17, at Provena Cor Maraie Nursing Home. She was born October 25, 1914 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Wellington and Laurette (Crawford) Jordan. She was employed as a book keeper at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.Survivors include, 6 nieces and 1 nephew, Loretta Shipman of Atlanta, GA, Pamela (Nelson) Green of St. Louis, MO, Sylvia Peretee of Indianapolis, IN, Jonathan ( Joice ) Benton of Rockford, Charlene Pryor of San Jose, CA, Mary ( Victor ) Scott of Atlanta, GA, special cousins, Ingram (Laura) Gentry of Rockford, also numerous greatnieces and greatnephews as well as other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 stepsister Katie Loptien.Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 20, 2011 from 58 pm at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory 1860 S. Mulford Rd. (Mulford Chapel). Graveside services will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Greenwood Cemetery with Fr. William R. Wentink officiating.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Provena Cor Maraie Nursing Home.
