Anthony R. Mule'

Died at 11:30 AM on Sunday May 24th, 2015 at St. Anne's in Rockford, Illinois. Born November 22, 1929 to Joseph and Alice (Lucido) Mule' in Independence, Louisiana. Married Ruth M. Forrest April 15th, 1967 at St. Edward's Church in Rockford. 1947 graduate of West High School. Served in Korean War from 1951-1952. Worked as a Product Designer at Sundstrand and Suntec from 1953 - 1994. Hobbies included cooking and photography, but his first love was his family. He had a subtle sense of humor, was friendly, easy-going, and always presented a helping hand and a smile.
Survivors include: wife Ruth Mule', children Judy Mule', Dan (Stacey) Mule', grandchildren Ethan and Sophia Mule', sister Margaret (Carl) Rizzo, brother Joe Mule', sister Mary Buckingham, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, sisters Pauline Toti and Alice Cimino and son Michael Mule'.
Visitation at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Thursday 4:30 - 7:00 PM, with the rosary recited at 6:30. Funeral at St. Rita Catholic Church, Friday May 29th, 11:00 AM, with visitation preceding from 10:00 - 10:45. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
