Antoinette Fiorenza

Antoinette C. Fiorenza, 87 of Rockford, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in her home. Born July 3, 1925 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Victor and Pasqua (Ianette) DeLuca. Married her loving husband, Paul Fiorenza in November of 1947. Worked for Weises and Yonkers on the sales floor for 20 years retiring in 1995. Antoinette is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and had numerous hobbies that included baking, sewing, knitting and ceramics but was also fond of puzzles, reading and fishing. Her true passion was raising and caring for her wonderful family and enjoying numerous family vacations and events. When not with her family and not performing her list of hobbies she was busy decorating her home and taking casino trips to keep herself busy. Survivors include her son, Paul Fiorenza; daughter, Patricia Nichols; grandson, Benjamin Nichols; soninlaw, Curtis Nichols and a special friend, Carmel. Preceded in death by her husband, her 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd.,
at 10 a.m. Entombment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation Monday, February 4, 2013 from 5 7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with a Rosary service to be recited at 7 p.m. Visitation continues on Tuesday at church from 9 a.m. until time of prayer at 9:45 a.m.
