Barbara A. Fuca, 73, Rockford, died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.nbsp; Born May 7, 1937 in St. Johns Newfoundland, Canada, daughter of Robert and Elsie Heale Cook.nbsp; Rockford resident since coming here from Canada in 1953.nbsp; Married Albert F. Fuca in June of 1957. Barb always had a good time going to garage sales and thrift shops. She had a special connection with nature that showed through her beautiful yard and flowers. She was also a wonderful homemaker and cook and a devoted grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Albert; son, Frank (Debbie) Fuca; daughter, Barbara Jean Bobbie Fuca; grandchildren, Adam Fuca, Holly Fuca and Kristen Fuca (Jamie Johnson brothers, Robert, Herbert, Jim and Paul Cook; sisters, Dorothy Ross, Edna Ashman, Olga Soper, Marilyn Cook and numerous nieces and nephews.nbsp; Predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters and a brother.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.nbsp; Express condolences and share memories at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
