Betty L. Canter

Betty L. Canter, 63, of Rockford, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born Aug. 13, 1946 in Van Buren, MO, the daughter of Frank B. and Viva (Revelle) Seufert. nbsp;Worked several years in home health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant until she fell ill. Betty enjoyed her family and loved to be with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff on 4 West at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Survivors include her children; Debbie Mays, Sherry Fairchild both of Rockford, Tim (Kris) Canter of Winnebago and Donnie Canter of Rockford; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Preceded in death by her son, Harold Fairchild in 1975 and her parents.
