Chester K. Wright

Chester K. Wright, Jr 72 of Rockford died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born July 8, 1940 in Addyston, Ohio the son of Chester K. and Thelma (Rupe) Wright, Sr. Worked for over 20 years for JL Clark and retired in 2005. Chester enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and was an avid sports fan always cheering on his Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to his long time companion, Ruth Deemer; Tom Hessian and Danny Rupe (Melissa), special cousin and family. Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca (Steve) McKillip of Rockford; son, James Wright of Florida; grandchildren, Amber, Sarah and Nicholas DiGuiseppi, Brittany Williams, Heather (James) Watrous and Dakota Wright; great grandchildren, Addison, Ayleen, Dominic, MacKenzie, Caleb, Xavier, Dominic and Greyson; sister, Kristine (Tony) Patron and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Pastor Jay Quinn of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation from 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family.
