Cynthia "Cindy" M. Kalstrom

Cynthia “Cindy” M. Kalstrom, 58, of Rockford, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born May 25, 1960 in Rockford; she was the daughter of William and Marjorie (Gustafson) Zies.
A graduate of East High School, Cindy was employed with Sundstrand Corporation.
She was a person who loved being outdoors spending her time fishing, gardening and sitting by the campfire. She also enjoyed painting, listening to music, cooking and spending time with her family and pets.
Survived by her sons, Jason and Erich Kalstrom; granddaughter, Leah Merkel; soul mate, Ron Boase; aunt, Ruth Gates; cousins, Debbie Gates Devane and Tracy Gates Young; former husband, Kevin Kalstrom; partner in crime, Kristy Baran and her cat, Lillie.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford.
