Daniel Peterson

Daniel John Peterson, 41, of Rockford passed away peacefully in his home Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Born February 23, 1971, in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Michael and Melissa (Johnson) Peterson. A 1989 graduate of Durand High School, Dan worked at Table 13 and presently at The Office Niteclub. He was an avid reader and loved to travel, most recently to Hawaii. He was very proud of his "Lawn of the Month" award a few years ago and was a fantastic and most imaginative bartender. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Melissa of Roscoe, three brothers, Patrick (Lorie Daughenbaugh) of Roscoe, Matthew (Sandra Goode) of Rockford, and Zachary of Freeport, four nieces, Danielle, Allison, Meghan and Kathryn, and great nephew Kalvin; grandmothers Marjorie Johnson and Irene Peterson of Rockford, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many wonderful friends. Predeceased by his grandfathers, Richard Johnson and Alfred Peterson, and aunts Kathleen Johnson Trowbridge and Linda Peterson. Visitation from 5pm until 8pm Wednesday, February 6 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 South Mulford Road, Rockford, with a time of sharing at 7:45pm. There will also be a Celebration of Life on Sunday February 10 from 1:00 pm 6:00pm at The Office Niteclub, 513 East State Street, Rockford.
