Dorothy Robinson, 62, Rockford, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, in Elkhorn, WI, due to an automobile accident. She was born December 5, 1952, in Chester, Arkansas. Dorothy married Odell Robinson and he passed away in Rockford in 2002. She was an accountant in the Circuit Clerk of Winnebago County office for 10 years retiring in 2014. She was a member of Heartland Community Church.
Survived by her daughter, Tanya Bates of Rockford, her son Brice Williams of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and her son, Benjamin Williams of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Hassan Bates, Contrice Guidry, and Kaleem Williams; her sister, Christine Griffith of Rockford; her sisters-in-law, Loretta Cain and Earnestine Cain; many nieces, nephews and friends and her special daughter, Theresa (Charles) Jackson of Chicago. Predeceased by her husband, Odell, her parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Fitzgerald Funeral home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery at a later date. Dorothy's favorite color was red so her family requests that you wear something red. Memorials may be made to the family.
