Edwin Sandeen

Edwin L. Sandeen, 84, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015, in River Bluff Nursing Home. He was born September 5, 1930 in Rockford, the son of Alge and Alda Sandeen. Veteran of the Army. He worked at Warner Lambert for many years. Edwin was also a member of the Belvidere Moose lodge #295, and he worked at the ING Skating Palace in the 60's and 70's. He loved gardening, lawn work and traveling with his wife, especially to Disney.
Survivors include his four children, Mike (Linda) Sandeen of Web Lake, WI and Diane (Steve) Nestrojil of Oregon, IL. Mark (Angela) Sandeen of Rockford, Brian (Niki) Sandeen of Shirland. Grandchildren, Erica, De’Anna, Tyler, Kyle, Tyler, Aaron, Valarie, Aaron, Crystal, Jeremy, Jason and Beckie. Great grandchildren, Benjamin, Adam, Eryn Nichole, Isaac, Samantha, Emily, Lacy, Michael, Izzy, Brandon, Joshua, Andy, Jamey and Kristin. Sisters Violet (Vito) Zavagli and Roasalie Ann (Larry) Ferrell. Great great grandson, Oren Clint. Predeceased by his parents, son, Rodney. Grandchildren, Mark Matthew and Clint Talley.
