Rockford Genevieve Thompson, 79 of Rockford, died Monday, January 4, 2010 in SwedishAmerican Hospital at 6p.m. Born November 25, 1930 in Crawford County, WI to Pearl and Eliza (McMillan) Copus. Genevieve married Paul Thompson on June 20, 1948.

Survivors: Son, Charles (Claudette) Thompson of Rockford, Il: Daughters, Paula (Robert) Zeller of Naperville, Il and Elaine (Peter) Jungblut of North Aurora, Il: Grandchildren: Kimberly Thompson, Katherine Thompson, Robert Zeller III, Kristine Zeller; Brother: Gordon (Elsie) Copus: Sisters: Betty Ballard, Darlene (Stan) Christensen and Kaye Schroeder. Predeceased by parents Pearl and Eliza, husband Paul, siblings Velma Dull, Clinton Copus and Sylvester Copus. A special thank you to Dr. Chantal Girod.
