Joanne Zarlenga

Joanne Zarlenga 72 of Belvidere passed away Thursday March 28, 2013 at OSF St Anthony Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1940 in Chicago. The daughter of Helen and Melvin Williams. She married Robert Zarlenga on June 21, 1958 in Chicago. Member of St. Rita Church in Rockford and St Andrew Church in Apex, NC. Joanne loved being with her family especially her great grandchildren, her flowers, her great friends and neighbors, and was an avid book reader. Survivors include her husband Robert. Children, Beth (Mark) Campbell, Robert (Emmy) Zarlenga and Sue Zarlenga. Grandchildren, Lauren (Jeremy) Garrett and Kristin Feltes. Great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bradley, Peyton and Tommy Garrett. Brothers, Melvin (Valerie) Williams, Jerry Williams and Albert Williams. Preceded in death by her parents and birth father John P. Cusick. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am Tuesday April 2, 2013 at St Rita Church Rockford IL with Father David Peck officiating.
