John Kruft, 76,

Poplar Grove - John Kruft, 76, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at OSF Saint Anthony's Hospital. Born September 28, 1939 in Peoria, IL, the son of Joseph and Alma (Hollinger) Kruft. A graduate of Bradley University and member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Served in the Illinois Air Nation Guard. Married Beatrice “Bea” Lenzini on June 22, 1963. John worked for Hornung’s Golf Products Inc., as a sales rep for many years. He was a member of the PGA Sales Association.

Survivors include wife Beatrice "Bea", Daughter Julie Zimmer, son Joe and Tracy Kruft, grandchildren Katie, Alyssa, Colin, and Aiden.

A celebration of John’s life and lunch buffet will be held from 11:00am-2pm, with memorial beginning at 1:00, at the Timber Pointe Golf Club, 5750 Woodstock Rd, Poplar Grove, IL 61065 on Wednesday October 28th.
