Kenneth "Ken" F. Reisenauer

Kenneth F. “Ken” Reisenauer, 69, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born May 1, 1949, in New England, North Dakota. He was the son of Daniel and Magdalene (Frank) Reisenauer. Ken graduated from Trinity High School in Dickinson, North Dakota and went on to get a degree in engineering. He retired from Woodward after many years in the aerospace industry. Ken proudly served in the United States Army as a helicopter mechanic during the Vietnam War. His hobbies included cooking, gardening making model airplanes and trains and anything to do with aeronautics. He will forever be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
Survived by his sister, Julianna “Judy” (James) Cotugno; nieces and nephews, James (Lauren) Cotugno, Jeff (Pam) Cotugno, Jill (Jose) Renteria, Jon Cotugno and Janet Quinn; great nieces and nephews, Michael, Jessica, Brian, Owen, Daniel, Machaela, Dilen, Jeremi and Inara. Predeceased by his parents; sister, Natalie Catherine Reisenauer.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15th at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Share online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
