Lane A. Seagren

Lane A. Seagren, 37, of Davis passed away suddenly on December 8, 2017 in Wisconsin while at work. Born January 27, 1980, in Rockford, Illinois. He attended Rockford East High School, but later graduated from Pecatonica High School, class of 1998. He worked for Safelite Auto Glass in both the Rockford and Janesville locations for fifteen years. Lane was a volunteer firefighter for both Davis and Pecatonica Fire Departments. He married Leah Kramer in Lake Summerset on September 22, 2007. He enjoyed being outdoors doing lawn care, detailing vehicles, but most of all spending time with his kids and family. Survivors include wife, Leah; children Nolan and Carlie Seagren; parents Lory and Toni Seagren; sister Erin (Kevin) McCawley; maternal grandmother Yolanda Weisensel; father and mother in-law William & Sally Kramer, brother in-law Ross (Jodi) Kramer and sister in-law Dana (Chad) Workman; nieces and nephews Tori, Logan, Keegan, Aiden and Cameron McCawley, Billy Kramer and Rylie Keep; numerous close aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by paternal grandparents Lloyd and Dorothy Seagren and maternal grandfather Stanley Weisensel.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017 with the Rev. Bob Kolb officiating at Faith Community Church, 212 W McKimmy St, Davis, IL 61019. Burial at Davis Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103 and from 10- 11 a.m. Thursday at church.
