Larry Thompson

Larry Thompson, 52, of Freeport, IL passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018.

Larry was born December 5, 1966 in Chicago, IL, son of William and Hilda (Wokeck) Thompson. He married Donna Thompson on April 21, 2013. Larry worked as an auto mechanic most of his life. He enjoyed all things outdoors, especially working on cars, fishing and snowmobiling. He loved his family, animals, people, giving hugs and was always there for anyone in need. Larry’s unique characteristics kept him always on the go as he did not like to sit still. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Surviving relatives include his loving wife, Donna Thompson; children, Jonathon Thompson, Shawanna Butler, Adrianna Jordan, William Thompson, Lexus Coleman, Richard Thompson and SharLynn Corbitt-Wright; eight grandchildren; sister, Linda J. (Thompson) Schubert; nephew, Bill Pierson; nieces, Christy (Pierson) Hanosh, Laura Huston and Allison Parks; parents-in-law, James (Carolyn) Baird. He is predeceased by his parents; brother, Kenneth Thompson and sister, Christine Thompson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.
