Lois Herr Evans

Lois Herr Evans, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23, 2010 with her devoted husband of 58 years and daughters at her bedside.Lois is survived by husband, Carl Evans; daughters, Carla (Winston) Teo, Patricia (David) Homan and Cynthia (Robert) Hafner; loving grandma to, Catherine and Geoffrey Teo, David and Adam Homan and Mary and William Hafner; brother, Eldon (Mary Lee) Herr; sister, Eva Morris and many nieces and nephews.Lois was born and raised in Curwensville, PA. Lois and Carl were married in 1952 and relocated to Hammond, IN in 1961. She moved to Rockford, IL in 1978, where she was a successful decorator and owner of Evans Interiors.The family greatly appreciates the assistance of Rita and Wayne Gano during Lois' illness. Joint interment and a memorial service to be held at a later date. Donations made to Amberwood Care Center in honor of Lois would be greatly appreciated. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. assisted the family. To
