Lona Wilson

Lona Wilson, age 55, of Rockford, passed away at PA Peterson.

She was born on June 4, 1965, the daughter of Judy Ptacek and Donald Wilson.

Lona loved unicorns, Mickey Mouse and animals. She enjoyed car rides, rides on her scooter, playing poker, crocheting and eating sundaes from McDonalds.

She is survived by her sister, Teresa Underhill, brother, Gary (Cally) Underhill, niece, Ashley Underhill; nephew, Josh (Shawna) Underhill and their children, Emmett, Jordan, Angelina, Chase and Mikkel, nephew, Shawn (Amanda) Underhill and their children, Easton and Mason, niece November Baker and nephew Brenton Baker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Judy and Donald, and her beloved cat, Missy.

Cremation rights have been accorded with funeral arrangements entrusted by Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory.

Memorials may be given to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary in Rockford, IL.
