Lorraine Kathryn Youngren, 86, of Rockford, died at 4:20 a.m. Monday May 21, 2008 at P.A. Peterson Bergmark Villa. Born June 14, 1921 in Savanna, Illinois. daughter of Stephen and Mary (Notz) Bellich. Lived in Rockford for over 60 years, coming from Savanna, Illinois. Lorraine Married John A. Youngren on December 27, 1941 in Savanna. She was a devoted homemaker for over 67 years. She also spent times working for National Lock, Amerock Corporation, and Gambino Builders. She was a member of Red Hat Society (Scarlet Scandals) and loved trips to Chicago for seeing musicals and shopping She also enjoyed traveling to New York City, Florida, Arizona. Her life revolved around her family and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She loved baking for them and teaching them to make her special Swedish pancakes, popcorn balls and ham buns. Survivors include: Daughters, Pat (Ken) Balentyne of Rockford and Janice (Jon) Anderson of Rockford; Sons, Jon(Geni) Youngren of Cherry Valley and Jim Youngren of Machesney Park; Grandchildren; Katrina, Kimberly, Kristin, Kevin, Kraig, Mark, Chad, Matthew, Stephanie, Hillary and Timothy; Great-Grandchildren; Lacee, Lindsey, Lexi, Kinsey, Kylie, Kaden, Amaya, Elyse and Miranda. Also survived by her Brothers, Emil (Rosalie) Bellich of Thomson, Nick Bellich of Belvidere, Paul (Phyllis) Bellich of Savanna and Tom Bellich of Savanna. And Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeaceased by parents, husband, John; Sister, Marie and brother- in-law, Ole Molander; brother Albert, Infant sister Lisa and sister-in-law Myrtle Bellich. Funeral Service 12 P.M., Tuesday, May 27, 2008, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory , Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
