Margaret L. Fluegel

Margaret L. Fluegel, 84, Rockton, died at 12:08 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born April 4, 1926 in Pittsfield, daughter of George E. and Bessie B. Hammett Bartlett. Lived in the Rockford area since 1972. Married James C. Fluegel on June 20, 1948. She was a licensed beautician and together with her husband had owned the Montgomery Ward Catalog Store in Rochelle for several years. Margaret was an easy-going , active woman who enjoyed people. Survivors include her son, Richard (Barbara) Fluegel of Roscoe and her daughter, Mary Jane Fluegel, DVM of South Beloit; grandchildren, Philip (Amy) Fluegel, Daniel (Amanda) Fluegel, Justin (Michelle) Fluegel and Karisa (Jonathan) Yeagle and four great-grandchildren.Predeceased by her husband on May 19, 1991, parents, son, Gary Fluegel and sister, Marcine Brillhart.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N.
