Maria L. Garcia

On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, Maria L Garcia, loving Grandmother and Mother of two, made her transition to be with the lord at the age of 89 after a long battle with cancer.

She was a devout Catholic with a remarkable faith. She never stopped fighting, no matter how sick she was, she was always determined to enjoy life. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Although she is no longer with us it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. The memories and joyful moments she left behind, will be cherished forever in our hearts.

Maria was born in October 1932 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Ricardo Garcia and Carlota Najera. She is survived by her son Cesar Victoria and daughter Sandra Campos. Her grandchildren Dennis & Franchessca Castellanos, Francis and Jose Breseda, Hector and Liliana Campos, Christian Campos, David & Erin Campos, Sherly and Jose Henriquez, Julissa and Edgar Sandoval Thelma Alegria, Nelly, Diana, and Bryan Marroquin, 11 Great Grandchildren, and fur babies Sparky, Bailey, Lala, Coco, and Missy.
