Marjorie Catherine Caster

Marjorie Catherine Caster, 84, Machesney Park, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1937, in Sibley, IA, the daughter of Theodore and Clara (Johannes) Voss. She married Burdette Caster in Ashton, IA on October 25, 1958. She worked at the Asthma and Allergy Associates in the Chicago area for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
Survived by her husband of 63 years, Burdette; her daughter, Theresa Brock; her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Noah) Kosinski and Jay Burdette Brock; her great grandchildren, Joseph and Theodore Strope, Mason, Remington, and Levi Kosinski; her siblings, Rita Lange, Henry Voss, Donna Voss, Ted Voss, and Jim (Tracy) Voss; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, 2 infant children, Bernice and Tommy; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jean and Dale Krogman, her brother, Richard Voss; her sister-in-law, Sherri Voss, her brother-in-law, Ed Lange, and 2 nieces, Mary Beth and Doris.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Av. Loves Park. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, December 6, 2021, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av. with the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass.
