Marjorie Jane Vogrinc, 83 Marjorie Jane Vogrinc, 83 of Rockford, died on Sunday, September 16, 2007 in her home surrounded by her family. Born August 20, 1924 in Peru, IL, daughter of Stanley and Rose (Kososki) Grobelny. Graduate of St. Marys Hospital in LaSalle, IL where she attended nursing school. Married her loving husband Frank M. Vogrinc on May 4, 1946 in Peru. Worked as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager at Swedish American Hospital for 30 years retiring in 1987. Memberships include St. Edward Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild. Survivors include her children; James (Cheryl) of Madison, WI, Janet Sue (Douglas) Jones of Harvard, Brian (Mary) of Rockford, Bruce (Marybeth) of Woodstock and Laureen (Franklin) Reidelberger of Palatine; 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her Husband, Frank on August 23, 2000 and sister Marie Sever and brothers, Edward Grobelny and Jack Grobelny. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at St. Edward Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Black officiating. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. from 5 to 8 p.m. with a rosary service to be recited at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center.
