Mary Noreen Mcnabb

Mary Noreen McNabb, 85, died peacefully in her sleep on August 29, 2008. at Provena St. Ann Center. Born September 14, 1922 in Eau Claire, WI. to Clarence D. and Noreen Theresa (Conway) McNabb. She was an R.N. Graduated of St. Anthony School of Nursing in 1944. Worked at St. Anthony Hospital, Beloit Hospital and Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI. Noreen moved back to Rockford after living 20 years in Lansing, MI, where she followed Michigan State Sporting events. She was a member of the parish of St. Bridgets, in Loves Park. She spent her whole life caring for family members.   Survivors include brother Bishop John C. McNabb, O.S.A., Olympia Fields, IL; sister Janet M. Marelli, Rockford; sisters in law Janet M. McNabb of Denver, Co and Marilyn J. McNabb of Beloit, WI; Numerous nieces, nephews and children. Predeceased by parents, brothers Cal Jr. and Jerry McNabb; brother in law Thomas Marelli.   Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, IL  with the Most Reverend Bishop John C. McNabb, O.S.A. officiating. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass.  Burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial to O.S.A.
