Mary T. Mangiaracina

Mary T. Mangiaracina, 92, of Tampa, Fla. Formally of Rockford, entered into eternal life with the Lord on Sunday May 22, 2011 in Tampa, Fla. after a long illness with Alzheimers.nbsp; She was born Sept 12, 1918 in Rockford to Jasper and Marguerita (Giovingo) Alfano.nbsp; She was united in marriage to Joseph Mangiaracina on April 28, 1940 and shared a special love for 65 years until his passing on July 28, 2005.nbsp; Mary was a member of St. Peters Cathedral while living in Rockford and an active member of St. Marys Goodtime club.nbsp;nbsp; Marys greatest joy and happiness came from spending time and cooking for her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Nicholas J.(Helen) Mangiaracina of Ottawa, Roselyn (Tom) Carroll of Centennial, CO.nbsp; and Marguerite (Gasper) Ficarrotta of Tampa, grandchildren, Nicholas (Susan) Mangiaracina, Theresa (Doug) Gephart, Marguerite (Mark) Bengston, Andrea (Steve) White, John Mangiaracina, Kevin (June) Steder, Kim Vik, Michael Carroll, John (Stephanie) Carroll, Joseph (Maranda)Ficarrotta, andnbsp; Jon (Jennifer) Ficarrotta; andnbsp; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Sydney, Danielle, Paige Nicole, Nathan, Angelina, Kevin, Caleb, Maria, Brandon, and many nieces and nephews.nbsp; Mary was preceded in eternal life by her husband, Joseph, her parents, grandson, Kenneth Steder, and siblings, Frances Mangiaracina, Lillian Ferraro, and Frank Alfano.
