Mary V. Johnson, 86 Loving Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma   Rockford- Mary V. Johnson, 86, died Monday, March 2, 2009 in her daughters home. Born April 13, 1922, in Rockford, daughter of Renato and Odelia (Falgout) Massari. Married her loving husband Roy S. Johnson in 1944. He predeceased her in July, 1999. Mary worked at her husbands company, Jefco, for several years and later worked at Bergners. She is a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and a past member of First Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher of 20 years. Member of the Corona Lodge of the Svitiod Club where she enjoyed helping with Bingo. Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center, OSF St. Anthony 4 West, especially, Jan, Trish, Zenia and Stephanie for their loving care and Dr. Kenton Lee for his support and gracious care. Survivors include her daughters; Barbara (John) Myers and Carol (Jay) Few, both of Caledonia; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Michele) Myers, Jackie (Rick) Kolthoff, Charles (Dana) Myers, Katie (Matt) Pozzi, Erika (Scott) Krupkin, David (Laura) Few and Ally Few; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Luke, Jenna, and Joy Myers, Courtney and Kelsey  Kolthoff, Justine, Lydia and Collin Myers and Austin and Cooper Pozzi; nephew, Joey Massari. Preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Frank Massari.   Funeral Service Saturday, March 7, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, with Rev. Lee Laaveg of Our Saviors Lutheran Church officiating. Interment in Arlington Memorial Park. Visitation from 9:30am-11 am in the funeral home.
