Matilda "Tillie" M. Postulka, 87 Matilda "Tillie" Margaret Postulka, 87 of Rockford died on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at P.A. Peterson Center for Health. Born June 17, 1920 in Mahanoy City, Penn the daughter of Dominic and Margaret (Bichowski) Sabalius. Married the late Michael Postulka on Dec. 31, 1941. She was employed by General Cement, was a waitress at North Town Manor, owner of the Feather Club and Francisee Diesel Drivers School of Sun Valley, WI. A member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Tops for 17 years and Monday Morning Womens Prayer Group. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Pat Sable of NY and brother-in-law Frank (Esther) Postulka of FL; niece Margaret Sable. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael on Aug. 21, 2002; brothers Edward Sabaluis and Albert Sable. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Entombment will be held in Calvary Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 9 until 9:45 in the Parish Center of St. Bernadette. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel assisted with arrangements.
