Michael H. Scandroli 59, Loves Park, died at 9:41 a.m. following a short illness on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born September 12, 1952 in Rockford, son of Henry C. and Maxine M. (Klick) Scandroli. Graduated from West High School. Employed by Scandroli Roofing for many years. Michael loved animals, working with model railroads and especially enjoyed music.Survivors include his parents ,Henry and Maxine; brothers, Anthony (Anya) Scandroli, Cummings, GA and Charles Scandroli, Rockford; nephews, Charles Scandroli, Rockford, Matthew and Nathaniel (Ashley) Scandroli, Cummings, GA and a cousin, Bryan Mattahews, Baltimore, MD. Predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Alonzo Klick and Gladys Klick McLaughlin, paternal grandparents, Henry Scandroli, Sr. and Frances Scandroli and aunt, Shirley Matthews. Funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with Rev. Jerry Demond officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Memorials may be made to the family.
