Michael V. Lund, 55, lifelong Rockford resident, died at 10:18 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.nbsp; Born September 30, 1954, son of LaVerne and Lois C. Lindeman Lund. Graduated from Jefferson High School and was confirmed in Our Saviors Lutheran Church. He was the owner of MVL Painting.nbsp; Michael had a great appreciation for nature.nbsp; He enjoyed spending time at the lakes and loved to camp, fish and boat.nbsp; He was a passionate Harley rider and enjoyed doing photography.
Survivors include his daughter, Erica N. Lund; son, Brandon M. Lund; parents, LaVerne and Lois Lund; sister, Sandra (Dan) Henning; nephews, Lance Henning and Trevor Lund; niece, Aleah Lund; great nephews, Colton and Austin Henning and aunts, uncles and cousins.nbsp; Predeceased by his grandparents and brother, Kevin Lund.
Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.nbsp; This will be followed by a graveside service in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery with his aunt,Rev.
