Patricia Ruvolo Mcgaw

Patricia (Ruvolo) McGaw 62 of Rockford passed away Monday December 22, 2014 Patricia was in her home surrounded by her family and closest friends celebrating Christmas! She was born July 27, 1952 in Rockford, the daughter of Michael and Lena Palmenderi Ruvolo. She married Raymond McGaw on May 10, 1975 in St. Anthony Church. She graduated from West High School, Class of 1970. Her career consisted of: Medical Laboratory of Pathology at the Professional Building, Unit Clerk at Swedish American Heart Floor, and Whitehead School as Food Service Director. Patricia was a member of St Anthony Church and St Ambrogio Club. Patti’s life revolved around her sons an grandkids.
Survivors include her husband Raymond, children, James (Rachel), Raymond (Precious Guidi) and Matthew McGaw. Grandkids, Vincent, Kaden, Tyler and Aubrey. Brother, Michael (Kit) Ruvolo. Step-mother, Jessica Ruvolo. Nieces and nephews, Michelle, Michael III, Monica and Robert. Sisters-in-law, Marlis (Patrick) Young and Mary Ann McGaw and many loving cousins. Predeceased by her parents, daughter Sarah and son Mark. Extra special thanks to her niece Michelle (Ruvolo) Stallman for all of her loving care for her Aunt Patti in her final days.
Funeral Mass at 10am Saturday December 27, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Franciscan Friars officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 4pm until 7pm Friday December 26 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 S. Mulford Road. Express online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
