Patricia "Trish" Kay Barr

Patricia “Trish” Kay Barr, 80, Rockford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 20, 2018. She was born September 7, 1937, in Harvard, the daughter of Gerald and Eva (Frenk) Saloff. Trish’s undeniable grace, strength, and courage during her years of illness allowed her to live life to the fullest. She enjoyed family trips to Italy, Ireland, California and Florida. Trish’s number one priority was her entire family.
Survived by her children, Michael Pierce, Joseph (Lorrie) Pierce, Jaci (Peter) Perez, Kelli (David) Yager, Patrick Pierce, John (Kari) Pierce, and Mari (Doug) Frenk; her grandchildren, Jessica, Traci, Heather, Lindsey, Grant, Kelli, Amanda, Molly, Ashley, Chad, and Maxx; 11 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; her siblings, Joanne (Fred) Inkles and John (Nora) Smith. Predeceased by her first husband and the father of her children, Terry Pierce and her second husband, Michael Barr; her infant son, Terry and her granddaughter, Staci.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
