Paulette A. Spinello

Paulette A. Spinello, 74, left this Earth to be with the Lord on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born January 13, 1941, in Rockford, the son of Raymond and Ellen (Johnson) Watson. Paulette married Matt Spinello on October 28, 1961 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Throughout her life, Paulette worked at SS Kresge, Walgreens, Bill’s Donut Shop and One Stop Pharmacy. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the Renew Prayer Group at St. Anthony and the Land of Lincoln Theatre Organ Society. The Spinello Family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Cor Mariae Rehabilitation, VNA and Rockford Memorial Hospital, especially Dr. Brefeld.
Survived by her husband, Matt; son, Matthew; sister, Lavonne (Carl) Rizzo; aunt and uncle, Gloria and Leo Johnson; cousin, Cheryl; special godson, Tony Spataro, dear friends, Marilyn, Nina, Robin, Penny and Keith and special pet, Polly the Parrot. Predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Ellen, stepfather, Leonard Greenfield, special aunt, Kay Spataro, numerous aunts and uncles and dear friend, Helen.
Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Inurnment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Land of Lincoln Theatre Organ Society. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, assisted the family.
