Pearl C. Martini

Pearl (Pierina) C. Martini, 85, was born into eternal life on October 19, 2011. A resident of Rockford for 76 years and lived in Colorado since 2002. Born June 26, 1926 to John and Maria (Pegoraro) Spillare in Rockford. Graduate of St. Anthony Grade School and West High School class of 1943. Married Joe Martini at St. Anthony Catholic Church on June 2, 1946. Employed at Twin Disc, Rockford Board of Education and Guardianship and Advocacy. Life long member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and Venetian Club.

Survived by daughters, Sharon (Larry) Knoll and JoAnn ( Maury) Smith; grandchildren, Steve, Tony, Eric (Kathy), Matthew (Nicole) and Maria (Erick greatgrandchildren, Ethan, Spencer and Connor; Sisterinlaw, Patricia Spillare; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Predeceased by parents, husband, Joe, brother, Gene, sister, Josephine (Pina) amp; brother in law, Joseph (Pete) Varcato,
sister and brother in law, Rose and Pete Gulotta and nephew, Alex Gulotta.

Funeral Mass at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 1010 Ferguson St.
Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
