Philip Noble

Philip Joseph Noble, 76, of Machesney Park, IL passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Home Bridge Nursing Home.nbsp; Born November 18, 1935, in Chicago, IL; the son of the late Alex and Rose (Farone) Noble.nbsp;

Philip was the manager of Nobles Grocery in Rockford, IL until his retirement in 2000.nbsp; He enjoyed going to casinos and playing pool.nbsp; Philip loved traveling; he was outgoing and a people person.

Survivors include his children, James Noble, Chrystal Noble, John Noble, Alex Noble, Brandi Noble, many grandchildren and one sister, Connie Harms.nbsp; He was predeceased by his three brothers, Steve, Alex and Jimmy Noble.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at St. James Catholic Church, 428 N. 2nd Street, Rockford, IL, 61107, with a one hour visitation prior to mass.

Visitation will be 57 pm Monday, December 19, 2011 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford, Rockford, IL 61108.nbsp; A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.nbsp; Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.nbsp;
