Robert J. Janicki, 64, Rockford, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Swedish American Hospital.Born March 18, 1948 in Chicago, son of Stanley and Helen Kowalkowski Janicki.Married Adrienne Michalski in Chicago on March 11, 1972.Rockford resident for the past 25 years.Bob loved his hometown White Sox and coached Little League for several years when his children played.He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and travel with his wife and friends.Survivors include his wife, Adrienne; sons, Jason (Carolyn) Janicki and Jeff (Alison) Janicki; grandchildren, Dashiell, Lev, Iris, Josie, Sophia and Ethan; brother, Rich (Monica) Janicki; sister, Diana Janicki; brotherinlaw, Gerald (Nancy) Michalski and several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his parents.A memorial visitation will be held from 58 p.m.on Friday, February 8, 2013 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel.Memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with a visitation also from noon until time of the service.Memorials may be made to the family.Express condolences and share memories at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
