Rosalind "Roz" J. Santini

Rosalind “Roz” J. Santini, 64, of Rockford, passed away March 16, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her husband and daughters. Born July 22, 1953, in Rockford, the daughter of Veto A. & Bertha (Cascio) Santini. Graduated from West High school, class of 1971. Married Steve Corbett in Key West, on July 27, 2007. Member of St. Bridget’s Catholic Church. Roz enjoyed having her toes in the sand and Key West sunsets, but most of all she loved spending time with her husband, daughters and grandchildren.
Survivors include husband Steve; daughters Shana Marotta and Nicole (Adam) Marotta Wolfenberg. Stepson Gavin Corbett; grandchildren, Kaden, Makenzie, Giana, Gabriella, Marley, Stella, Katelyn, Mia, Alec, Luca and Brayden; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and personal friends.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave, Loves Park, IL. Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 with a rosary recited at 7:45 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103 and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until mass at church. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory.
