Ruthann Heath White

Ruthann White, 86, died November 10, 2010 at Alpine Fireside Nursing Home after a long illness. Ruthann is the daughter of Floyd and Miriam Gertrude Heath. Ruthann is survived by daughter Kris and her husband Bob Matheson; son Rick and his wife Chris; niece Judy and Brad Marinelli; niece Leeann and Ted Collier and their son; nephew Steve and Nina Chiles and their children; grandchildren Tammy and Patrick, Trisha, Josh, Vanessa, John, Andy, Mike; great grandchildren Blake, Hannah and Haley, Faith, Isiah, Xander, Caleb, Nate and Marina. Ruthann was predeceased by her parents and sister Patricia. Ruthann was active with the Girl Scout organization, a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, and worked at Rockford Memorial Hospital for nearly 30 years. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling and attending Elderhostel, volunteering, and crocheting blankets, gloves, and scarves she donated to others while watching or listening to sports. We would like to thank Alpine Fireside for their loving care of our Mother. A Memorial Service to celebrate Ruthann's long life will be held Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home Riverside Chapel.
