Viola E. Cyborski

Viola E. Cyborski, 93, of Rockford passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. She was born the daughter of Chester and Anna (Urban) Repcynski. Viola married Edward T. Cyborski on October 5, 1946. Together, Viola and Edward owned their family business for many years. She loved to be social especially at family events, playing cards and golfing. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. Viola was very active in the church, attending Holy Family and St. Stanislaus over the years as well as volunteering as a Eucharistic minister at Swedish American and St. Anne’s. Above all, Viola was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Lovingly survived by her children, Gregory (Donna) Cyborski of Potosi, WI, Donald (Janelle) of Palatine, Maryjo (Mark) Perrot of Aurora, Marilyn (Bryce) Deter of Dekalb, Robert (Debra) Cyborski of Cherry Valley and Sharon Cyborski of Rockford; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Edward in 2012 and brother, Frank.
Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 201 Buckbee Street. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, assisted the family.
