Alene Elizabeth Gatti

Alene Elizabeth Gatti, 40, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away on May 6, 2026. She was born on August 25, 1985, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to Allen Gatti and Uberta Tomsic-Gatti

Alene’s greatest joy was her two daughters, Amora Mae, 13, and Bella Rose, 11. She cherished every moment with them, from shopping trips to silly afternoons at home, and the love between them was constant and deep.

The love of her life was her partner, Bryant Forrest, with whom she built a family and shared her heart. She was equally devoted to her father, Allen, and treasured the homemade pasta he made for her. A woman of steadfast Catholic faith, Alene drew strength from her relationship with God. She was pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Rockford Career College, building a bright future for herself and her girls.

Alene is survived by her partner, Bryant Forest; her daughters, Amora Mae and Bella Rose; her father, Allen Gatti; and many extended family members and friends who loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Uberta Tomsic-Gatti

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Fitzgerald Mortuary, 1860 South Mulford Road, Rockford, Illinois.
