Brandon Ferrall, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on August 20th, 2026 in the comforting embrace of his family. Born on April 4th, 1980, he was a lifelong Rockford resident.

Throughout his life, Brandon was known for his engaging story telling. He loved sharing stories from long ago and reminiscing. He had an extraordinary gift for lighting up a room with his presence, making every family gathering feel complete with his laughter and warmth. He was often the last to arrive and last to leave at family parties. Brandon loved being the center of attention and always had people gravitate towards him.

Brandon’s journey was filled with love and devotion, especially to his wife, Amanda, whom he married on July 26, 2013. Together they shared 19 wonderful years, raising two beautiful daughters, Taylor and Allison, who were the light of his life. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Staying up late and watching movies with Allison, riding bikes to parks around the neighborhood with Taylor, and going to every school event were just a few things he valued deeply. Being a girl dad was one of his biggest accomplishments and he wouldn't have it any other way.

Brandon was a dedicated and a respected manager at Osco/CVS for 21 years, where he made many friendships and met his beautiful wife, which he claimed was love at first sight. He also loved his time with FedEx, he brought a smile to everyone on his route and loved sharing stories about his old stops. He left a mark on those who had the privilege of working with him. Brandon’s work ethic and ability to connect with people were testaments to his character and the impact he had on those around him.

He loved figuring out how things worked and he caught on real fast- from running the lighting at New American Theater at just 16 years old to taking the best pictures as the designated family photographer. As an entrepreneur, he also had two companies - Superior Mobile Entertainment and then Ground Control, which was shared with his best friend Tony and his brother Trent. He could talk about any topic or would enjoy deep research to learn more when needed.

Brandon is survived by his loving wife Amanda; daughters Taylor and Allison; parents Steve and Wanda; siblings Brady (and Jennifer), Shana (and Jim), Trent (and Katie); Aunts Heidi Ann and Robbin (and the late Uncle Mike); nephew Grayson; nieces Lauren, Katie, Paige, and Jordan; and in-laws Jim and Linda.

A celebration of life will be held at Fitzgerald on September 5, 2026 from 2-4 pm including a time of sharing at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the benefit of his children, Taylor and Allison.
