Brent A. Fiori, 66, of Rockford, passed away at home on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Born in Rockford, IL, to Harold and Nancy (Myers) Fiori on February 13, 1960. He worked for Ingersoll Machine Tools and later, Woodward, Inc. His absolute loves in life were his partner; Jan, the Chicago Bears, and fishing out on the lake. He particularly enjoyed fishing trips with his good friend, Duane Nichols. Brent was also a master gardener, growing a variety of plants. He often got lucky with the many lottery tickets he purchased throughout his life. In his social life, Brent was also a member of the Verdi Club here in Rockford.

He is survived by his loving partner, Jan Zingler; siblings, Danon (John) Eaton, Lisa (Larry) Larson, Kelli (Paxton) Rhodes; honorary family, Elizabeth (Frank) Locascio, Wendy Orris; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; good friends, Duane (Cira-Lynn) Nichols, Owen (Marci) Brials; several nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and special ‘baby boy’, dog, Brutus.

A visitation for Brent will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108.
