Bryce Joel Bulthaus, age 77, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2026, with his family by his side. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Doris, and his brother Douglas. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cindy; daughter, Cori (Matt) Volkening; grandchildren, Brianna (Cori), Brett (Tessa) and Brandon (Brynn); siblings, Penny (Glen) Harris and many more friends and family.

Bryce was a graduate of East High School class of 67. He went onto graduate with an engineering degree and a master’s in business. He worked for many years as a tool and dye maker but was most proud of being an engineer.

Services will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
