Carolina Rodriguez, 55, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in her home. She was born in Canoas De Arriba, Mexico, on July 8, 1971, the daughter of Gildardo Arreguin and Maria Angelina Montoya. She married Guadalupe Rodriguez on July 27, 1996, in Rockford.

She worked for Cintas for many years and was a long-time member of Saints Peter and Paul Church where she attended with her husband. Carolina was dedicated to her home. She loved to cook, go to work, and be with her children. Going back home to Mexico brought her joy.

She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Rodriguez; her mother, Maria Angelina Montoya; her children, Fernando Rodriguez, Viridiana Rodriguez, and Issac Rodriguez; her siblings, Rosa Alba Carmona, Abel Arreguin, Sofia Amador, Rojelio Arreguin, David Arreguin, Yolanda Arreguin, Lupe Montoya, Jose Arreguin, Gildardo Arreguin, and Fernando Arreguin. She is preceded by her father, Gildardo Arreguin.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL, 61108. A Mass will take place on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 617 Lincoln Ave, Rockford, IL 61102. Burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
