Carter Anthony Huston - Pickett, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2026. Born on September 13, 2026, the son of Mark Pickett and Amber Huston. 

Though his time on earth was far too short, his life touched the hearts of many. He was deeply loved and eagerly anticipated by his family and all who knew of his arrival. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved him and will be missed more than words can express. His precious memory will be carried in their hearts always.

He is survived by those who loved him most, parents, Mark and Amber; grandparents, Mark Pickett, Daneel Burbey, Christine (James) Rush, and Douglas (Laura) Huston; great grandparents, Frances Huston, Norberta Pickett, Bonnetta Wolf, and George Brawner; aunts, Ashley (Seth) Swinehart, Brianna Pickett, Ashleigh (Jake) Castanza, and Kim (Josh) Usry; nieces and nephews, Sophie Pickett, Harper Swinehart, Nash Swinehart, Arsenio Castanza, Brayden Usry, and Brinley Usry; and numerous extended family members. He is welcomed into Heaven by his great grandparents, Gary Pickett, Richard Huston, Coleen Brawner, and Steve Burbey; and uncle, Kyle Dutter.

A Funeral Service will be on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108, with a visitation prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Scandinavian Cemetery.
