In loving memory of Constance Louise (Warner) Immordino, affectionately known to family and friends as Aunt Connie, who passed away in Rockford, IL, on September 16, 2026, at the age of 84, after a brief illness.

She was born August 21, 1942, to Oscar and Isabelle Warner and had one older brother, Richard, who she looked up to with great admiration. Growing up, she spent summers on Little Spider Lake, near Minocqua, WI, swimming, boating, and eating the fish they caught that day for dinner. The stories from those memorable years in Minocqua with her brother, cousin, parents, aunt, uncle, and grandparents were regularly told up until her passing. She received her B.S. in education from Drake University and her master’s degree from Rockford College and taught in Rockford Public Schools for more than 40 years. Connie married the love of her life, Michael Immordino, on June 23, 1983. They enjoyed traveling back to Minocqua and all over North America during her summers off from teaching and after retirement until Mike’s passing in 2010. Afterward, Aunt Connie continued traveling with her family, and she regularly invited her family out to dinner to ensure everyone stayed connected. Connie enjoyed giving advice to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She loved sharing her passion for sports, investing, politics, travel, and ‘responsible’ gambling with others. She had a soft spot for all animals, was generous to all, and will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit. Above all, she was very proud of her family and always looked forward to spending time with them.

Connie is survived by her nieces, nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews of the Warner family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Immordino; her parents, Oscar and Isabelle Warner; her brother, Richard Warner; and her sister-in-law, Carol Warner.

A private family funeral was held on September 24, 2026, at Holy Family Church, where she was a member, followed by entombment at Calvary Cemetery.
