Dorla D. Crevisour, 95, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, in Rockford, IL. She was born March 30, 1931, in Nashville, Kansas, the daughter of Wayne E. and Estella (Palmer) Nichols. She married the love of her life, Robert R. Crevisour on October 4, 1952, in Bentenville, Arkansas. They remained married for 68 years until his passing on October 24, 2020.

Dorla’s life was centered in the home she made and the care she gave so generously. As a homemaker, she brought steady devotion to the daily work of family life, shaping a place of comfort and welcome through her presence and attention.

She found happiness in many simple and enduring pleasures. Dorla loved to read and delighted in Scrabble and other word games, pursuits that reflected both her lively mind and her enjoyment of good company. She also enjoyed bowling, golf, and ceramics, embracing each with enthusiasm. Travel brought her special pleasure, particularly the journeys she shared with her husband, Robert. She also loved showtunes, whose spirit and melody no doubt added brightness to her days.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela R. Kinley (Delbert Kinley), Deborah L. McKerchie (Burton McKerchie) and Jill D. Bouton (Terry Bouton decd.); her grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, Tricia, Christina, Dylan, Leslie, Marshall, Casey, and Wayne; her great grandchildren, Briana, Bryson, River, Nico, David, Joshua, Sadie, Vianca, Dexter, Margot, London, June, and Stella; and her great great grandson, Braxton.
