In loving memory of Dorothy Marie (Erickson) Wiles, who passed peacefully at home surrounded by love, on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

Dorothy was born April 16, 1948 in Rochelle, IL. She held fond memories and many a tale from her childhood growing up on a farm in Stillman Valley, memories she carried with her until the very end. She was a devoted wife to Steven Wiles, who she cared for as he battled Parkinson’s Disease until he passed in 2022. She was an adoring mother to Nicole (Wiles) Morris and grandmother to Wyatt and Oliver Morris.

Dorothy was a beacon of love and support for all who were blessed to know her. Anyone who asked Dorothy for help was met with a resounding “yes,” and those who did not ask were still met with a helping hand and glowing smile when in need. Dorothy had a love for cooking, baking, and gardening, and excelled at all three.

Heaven has welcomed a beautiful soul, while her love lives in our hearts forever. A life of kindness and a heart we’ll always cherish, her quiet strength will guide us daily.
